Mount Kenya ESL UHT Whole Milk, UHT Milk comes from cow’s milk that is treated to high temperatures and then rapidly cooled to kill the bacteria and spores in the milk. The UHT treatment increases the shelf life of the milk, allowing consumers the convenience to store it in ambient conditions without the need for refrigeration. Milk is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, including “nutrients of concern,” which are under-consumed by many populations.
